What to know

D-A COURSE:

  • The D-A COARSE Extreme Cut Microfiber Pad for Dual Action polishers is specially designed to rapidly remove severe defects, sanding marks, scratches on fully cured or harder paint systems, and flat solid surfaces. The density and lateral stability of the foam interface, coupled with the specialized microfiber material, means fast cutting for dual-action random orbital and gear-driven orbital tools. Pair with RUPES D-A Coarse Compound and experience our fastest defect removal for any of our dual-action Big Foot polishing tools.

D-A FINE:

  • The D-A FINE Microfiber Polishing Pads for Dual Action polishers, are specially designed for the removal of moderate defects, swirls, haze and holograms on fully cured paint. Specialized microfiber material bonded to a semi-flexible foam backing allow for better control and contouring over varied panel shapes with an ideal balance of cutting and finishing ability. Combined with Jax Wax compounds, the D-A Fine Microfiber Pad delivers quick removal of moderate defects and a high degree of finish quality on most paint systems.

D-A EXTRA FINE:

  • The Rupes DA Ultra-Fine Microfiber Pad is designed to help you remove very light imperfections and leave behind an incredibly glossy and optically clear surface! Rupes Bigfoot Polishers and a lineup of pads provide you with an amazing level of perfection and finishing ability. The DA Foam and Wool pads are great, but what if you wanted a different material for your polish needs? This is where the DA Microfiber Pads come into play! Starting at the top of the pads, you will find them packed with a short and dense microfiber pile. This material will help you remove swirl marks, oxidation, scratches, water spots, and sanding marks in less time. The density and lateral stability of the foam interface beneath provides you with a sturdy base increasing maneuverability and overall durability over time. There are three great sizes (6", 5" and 3") and each pad is sized slightly larger than the compatible backing plate to provide edge protection during use. No matter if you are using the LHR15, LHR21, LK900E, or smaller tools like the LHR75, you will have the correct size pad for the polishing job. There are three pad types, Coarse, Fine, and Ultra-Fine, each designed for a different level of correction.
How it works
  • Consistent Technique for Uniform Finish: The importance of maintaining a consistent technique throughout the polishing process is emphasized, including the repetition of product application, pressure adjustment, and buffing across new sections of the vehicle. This consistency is crucial for achieving a uniform and impressive finish, underscoring the pad's role in attaining professional-level detailing results.
